About Krikey
Krikey is an Augmented Reality gaming app that is live on iOS and Android. Krikey just closed their Series A round, led by India’s largest telecom operator, Reliance Jio. Krikey has partnered with Google Maps, The Ellen DeGeneres Wildlife Foundation, Sony Pictures Entertainment and the National Audubon Society, building custom AR games for each brand partner and reaching 1.7M+ users. In 2020, Krikey launched their first action-adventure game, Yaatra. In 2021, Krikey launched Krikees - custom 3D Avatars! The Krikey app is ranked in the Top 100 Social Apps on Google Play India. Krikey was named to the Fast Company list of Best Apps and Games of 2020. In 2021, Krikey won the UserTesting Outstanding Small Business Illumi Award.
Meet The Founders
Krikey was founded by sisters (Jhanvi and Ketaki) in 2017. They have previously worked at YouTube, Facebook's Oculus and Google X. Jhanvi holds a BA, MBA from Stanford and an MFA from USC, and Ketaki holds a BA, MA, and PhD from Stanford (in virtual reality and game development). Ketaki was named to the Forbes 30 under 30 list for gaming in 2020.
